When I travel for work & adventure my fussy felines posed a challenge when searching for top notch boarding facilities.

While I’m Away is run by Irish Biologist, Cloe. Now based in the Oxfordshire countryside, has lived, worked and studied across three continents.

    Hi, it’s nice to meet you.

    It might surprise you that my journey began as geneticist and virologist which steered me towards a career in the pharmaceutical industry - so I run a tight ship!

    I have travelled the world following my passions and now live on the edge of the Cotswolds with 2 precious cats; Archie a blue British shorthair and Sterling a Bengal x British shorthair.

    I also maintain a small fruit & vegetable garden for my family so I know the consequences of even a short hiatus!

    I can’t tell you how excited I am to meet your furry friends and play a small role in making your next adventure possible.
